As we begin 2014, we are looking at how we approach membership of the Spina Bifida Association of Iowa.  Our goal is to make it easier to live out our mission “to enhance the lives of all affected.”

We are taking the approach that once you are a member, you are always a member.  Individuals and families interested in receiving information from us are encouraged to join us by completing our “New Member Form” and mailing it to us.  We will email you quarterly newsletters and send occasional emails about events and opportunities.  Current members can update their records by contacting us by phone, email or mail.

You are welcome to donate at any time, but we would like to encourage member donations through our Walk-n-Roll for Spina Bifida® in October.  If you did not participate in October but would still like to, please send a check to our office or donate now. 

Our SBAI Reimbursement Program has been modified to better serve individuals diagnosed with spina bifida and has been given a new name.  Membership to the SBAI Assistance Programs will require filling out a more detailed member form annually and mailing it to us.  To request assistance, please complete this form and mail it in with the documents requested in the SBAI Assistance Programs.
