Why Rowing?
Unlike canoeing or kayaking rowing boats are propelled by pulling backwards, strengthening both abdominal and core muscles. Because of this unique exercise it is highly beneficial to someone living with spinal cord injuries. Rowing also takes a tremendous amount of concentration. We answer the question – “What do you think about when you are rowing? – “ROWING!” It is a meditative experience that soothes the soul while strengthening your body.
