What We Do
- Provide resources and support for those living with Spina Bifida. Advocate for improved medical care and prevention.
- Deliver programs that empower independence and quality of life. Raise money to support the organization
- Focus on building community and improving quality of life
Board Member Responsibilities
- Attend monthly board meetings (1 in person, the rest virtually). Serve on at least one committee.
- Make a personal annual contribution of any amount (or lead a Walk-N-Roll fundraising team…or both!).
- Actively promote SBAIA and assist with fundraising efforts.
- Support strategic planning and oversight of programs and finances.
Ideal Candidates
- Passionate about our mission.
- Willing to share expertise, community connections, and time. Committed to diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.
- Willing to commit time and energy to the organization
- Willing to support fundraising and programing efforts monthly
Time Commitment
- Monthly meetings + committee work. (4 hours/month or more if willing and able)
- Participation in at least two SBAIA events annually.
